Now it just tingles. Dentist said I could eat whenever I wanted but be careful not to bite myself. I elect to wait until mouth is fully awake.

Yeah, it’ll feel really weird for a while, but you’ll get used to it. For months after I got one, I couldn’t stop running my tongue across the back of it. Now I’m doing that again, because you reminded me I have one :)

I’ll probably worry it to death with my tongue too. My dentist makes crowns right there next to where I was. It was fascinating to watch. What a lot of expensive technology sitting there.

Yeah, that is very convenient. My dentist is pretty high tech, so I wouldn’t doubt that he’s got the stuff to do it on the spot now. Fortunately I haven’t needed another to find out :)
